AFFORDABLE DOG TRAINER

We all know dog training is not cheap, right? The average cost of a in-home private dog trainer is approximately $400 a session! I personally believe in offering substantially lower rates for dog training as I care about helping you and your dog succeed. Most people send their dogs to a board and train facility, which costs on average $5,000-$10,000 for six weeks! A majority of things taught in a board and train can actually be taught in-home and save you thousands.

ABOUT ME

My name is Sidney Castroman. I have been rescuing, fostering, and training dogs for over 15 years. I have handled dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. While previously living in Texas, I rehabilitated dogs with temperament issues that were going to be euthanized and found them a new forever home. I believe every dog is a good dog and there is no such thing as bad dogs! Most people have problematic dogs and cannot afford to fix those problematic behaviors, resulting in a stressful home environment. My goal is to provide affordable dog training that allows owners and their dogs to live a happy and successful life! After working alongside with various shelters, training their dogs, I have decided as of 2024, to take my skillsets and become a professional dog trainer and create an in-home dog training business called Castroman’s Canine Training!

I AM A BALANCED DOG TRAINER

“A balanced dog trainer uses a combination of positive reinforcement and aversive techniques to teach dogs desired behaviors”

Balanced trainers aim to use corrections in a fair and humane way, and to avoid punishment, which can be demoralizing for dogs. I believe that using aversive tools like e-collars and prong collars can help tremendously with correcting bad behaviors while also using trains and love to reward those good behaviors. A lot of behaviors may not need a prong collar, and will just need a simple slip leash.
